CE Hours for ARCB, NCBTMB, ABMP, and many States Stress is a killer. Stress reduction is profoundly important in our modern world. Most people think of stress as affecting muscles, as well as inner organs and glands of the body. However, few of us give any consideration to the horrible stress put on the cells of our body. It is the cells that produce the bodies’ chemicals. And it is the bodies chemicals that are the true healers of most of society’s health challenges. Students will identify numerous causes of stress in every day life and briefly identifying what can be done to prevent adverse stress. Students will learn, hands-on, ways of reducing pain and stress for 16 of the most commonly affected places in the body, such as: jaw (TMJ), neck, shoulders, lower back, hips, sciatica, brain (headaches), sinuses, lungs, stomach, small intestines, large intestines (colon), uterus (PMS, cramps), prostate, urinary bladders, and more.
CE Hours for ARCB, NCBTMB, ABMP, and many States Discover Priority Reflexing. If you had to pick just one, for pain relief, for each musculoskeletal part of the body, which is best (top priority), the reflexes in the feet, or hands, or ears? It’s not always the feet. For some parts the feet are best, for others parts the hands are best, and for others parts the ears are absolutely amazing. Additionally, discover Progression Reflexing. After doing Priority Reflexing, where would your reflex 2nd, 3rd between the feet, or hands, or ears - for most consistent dependablepain relief for each musculoskeletal part of the body. Once again, it varies for each part of the body: jaw – TMJ, nose/mouth, tongue/teeth, neck C1-C7, shoulders, collar bones, shoulder blades, rhomboid muscles, rotator cuffs/deltoids, upper arms/elbows, forearms/wrists, hands/fingers/thumbs, rib cage, breast plate (sternum), pectoral muscles, abdominal muscles, groin sports injuries, erector spinae muscles, thoracic spine T1-T12, lumbar spine L1-L5, sacrum S1-S5, tail bones (coccyx), hips/hip joints, gluteal muscles, sciatica, upper legs/knees, lower legs/ankles, feet/toes, workplace injuries, sports injuries, range of motion issues, recovery time, pain, sprains, strains, profound stress relief. By the end of this Intensive Hands-On Workshop, you will go home being able to Integrate Foot Hand Ear Reflexology for each of these parts of the body, musculoskeletal issues, and pain.

Micro Systems Reflexology - World Reflexology Workshop – Powerful Lesser Known Reflexology Maps From Around The World Workshop *
CE Hours for ARCB, NCBTMB, ABMP, and many States 20 Exotic Reflexology Maps On Face, Head, Extremities & Energywork Through The Toes Start your year off by exploring, hands-on, twenty (20) Reflexology maps of the body discovered by medical doctors from around the world during the second half of the twentieth century. Learn about the Korean Reflex Maps - a complete reflex map of the entire body, located in each hand, and, in each foot - not both feet and hands as in the common Western Reflexology maps. Learn and work with Reflexology maps on the nose, face, temple, crown, big web of the hands, the Taiwanese 2nd Metacarpal Reflexology Map, Phases 3 and 4 on the outer ear, and many others. Massage Therapists, Bodyworkers, Reflexologists, Nurses, primary health care providers and others will be able to work with these lesser Reflexology Maps separately, or incorporate them into their current touch therapy practices. You will be amazed at the profound power of what you will learn. Imagine being able to bring about profound relaxation, and even emotional release, with the lightest touch, just on the ten toes and ten fingers. In class, apply these unique techniques discovered by Bill, during his years of teaching Reflexology around the world. Until you experience it, it’s hard to believe how profound these can be. Students will practice on each other the “Brazilian Toe Technique,” the “California Toe Technique,” as well as the “Canadian Toe Technique.” Most people are amazed at how such light work can lead to such deep relaxation and occasionally such significant emotional releases. This class is ideal for all who would like to have simple, easy, gentle ways to induce profound relaxation.

A high proportion of work related, sports related and everyday-at-home related injuries impact the forearms and hands, as well as, the lower legs and feet. Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation when applied appropriately can facilitate restoration of range of motion, reduced pain, enhanced neuromuscular function and accelerated recovery. When PNF is applied with foot and hand reflexology, the soft tissues of the hands and feet can be more receptive to hands-on reflexing techniques. During this class we will learn who may be helped using PNF techniques, explore the many benefits of PNF, cautions and contraindications to applying PNF to the extremities. During most of this hands-on class you will practice two different approaches to applying Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation techniques, targeted for Forearms & Wrists, Hands & Fingers, Lower Legs & Ankles, Feet & Toes. For graduates of any of the Condition Specific classes, this class will take your knowledge, skills and confidence to a much deeper level.
CE Hours for ARCB, NCBTMB, ABMP, and many States While in Western Pathology Classes in acupuncture school, I constantly found myself exclaiming, 'Reflexologists need to know this!' "Who knew that acupuncture school could send me back to Reflexology with more dedication than ever? I understand that Reflexologists and other natural health practitioners do not diagnose, but knowledge is power." - Lisa M. Chan, LAc, PhD. It seems, more than ever, Reflexologists are working closely with their Western and Eastern medicine counterparts. Anyone dealing with feet, hands and outer ears would benefit from knowing or reviewing some of the possible reasons that people have non-healing wounds, edema, swelling, shooting pains, structural irregularities, weakness, neuropathy, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel and repetitive disorders; or how diabetes, genetic disorders, DVT, MRSA, TB, AIDS, allergic reactions, cellulitis, phlebitis, lymphedema, syphilis, possible skin cancer, athletes foot, and how these may show up in, or impact feet, hands or outer ears. And, although Reflexologists and natural health practitioners do not diagnose, it can be valuable to learn when, and some ways of how, to refer clients to podiatrists, chiropractors, ERs, MDs and dermatologists. Additionally, learn hands-on techniques and exercises to help with structural issues of the feet and hands, as well as when to glove up and mask up with your clients, and how to clear your session/treatment rooms and yourselves after working with sick or possibly contagious people.
CE Hours for ARCB, NCBTMB, ABMP, and many States This workshop explores principles of anatomy, physiology, 10 pathologies, and 8 biomechanics of Feet, Hands and Ears, along with practicing Hands-on 20 minute protocols to enhance the healthy biomechanics of the Feet and Hands. By the end of this workshop participants will be able to describe the anatomy and physiology of the Feet, Hands and Ears; identify 9 pathologies and how they relate to the Feet and Hands; demonstrate 8 biomechanical movements of the Hands and Feet; identify 6 the warning signs for specific pathologies on the Hands and Feet; list reflex locations on the Feet, Hands and Ears for working on specific pathologies; demonstrate exercises to help enhance proper biomechanics of the Hands and Feet; and demonstrate a 20 minute Hands-on protocol to enhance proper biomechanics in the Feet and Hands
Memory of past emotional and physical traumas is stored in various locations in the tissues of the human body. Emotional Release Reflexology has been designed and successfully applied for over a decade in Germany and several Balkan countries to aid in release of past adverse emotions that have been locked in the body. The purpose of the course is to teach practitioner how to use reflexology to assist in releasing past emotions that may be having adverse emotional or physical impact on the body. More and more research proves the relation between emotional pressure and its effects on physical health. Besides the adverse effects of unhealthy stress, the roots for burnout and depression often are found in past emotions and trauma. With ERR we have a tool to touch those issues by touching the body through reflex-areas in the feet. In this class you will learn how to work on specific reflex-areas of the feet, which are connected to a person’s emotional level. You will also learn how to cope with and release emotions, which disable a person from unfolding his/her potential and bring back higher Quality of Life. During this primarily hands-on class, techniques will also be practiced to balance out the emotional experience during and mainly at the end of each ERR Session.
CE Hours for ARCB, NCBTMB, ABMP, and many States Many of us have heard that chemical, emotional, and physical stresses on the baby before birth, can show up as emotional and physical challenges later in life. Where the theory of Reflexology is that it reduces stress from the time of birth to present time, part of the theory of Metamorphosis is that it reduces stress from the point of conception to the point of birth. During this fascinating Seminar, students will learn the principles behind Metamorphosis, remarkably gentle techniques applied to the specific parts of the feet, hands, and head, and how Metamorphosis can be used by itself, or incorporated in many of the touch therapies. As the name suggests, some people experience moderate to substantial life changes that they attribute to a series of Metamorphic sessions.
For years Beginning Metamorphosis Students have been asking for an Advanced Metamorphosis Workshop. Here it is. In this class the students will learn advanced applications of the Metamorphosis Approach. We will learn hand symbols that can be used to address specific time periods in the gestation time and release stress that originated in the past. We will take an in depth look at life patterns that are formed during fetal gestation and explore the effects on one’s life. The philosophy behind Metamorphosis will be studied thoroughly as to the impact of Metamorphosis on genetic imprints, our relationships, and in global issues. We will work with case studies and fine-tune our way of working with specific focus groups. We also will address how this unique approach can be used towards creating balance in one’s life and on our planet, which is strongly needed at this time of great change and uncertainty. *****Prerequisite: Beginning Metamorphosis.
CE Hours for ARCB, NCBTMB, ABMP, and many States Polarity Reflexology combines working energetically with the Five Elements of Polarity Therapy; Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Ether, with Foot & Hand Reflexology. Learn how the 5 elements (slightly different from Chinese Medicine) affect you, your client and your sessions together. It can become part of the way you communicate in all aspects of your life, including how you, the practitioner speak, move, touch and make protocol-related decisions, i.e. what areas of the feet and hands to emphasize for balancing your client elementally. A completely new In-Take Form and protocols are included, based on your client's Five Element needs, such as grounding/fear (earth), motivating creativity (fire), grieving (ether), panic (air), not letting go (water). Being able to identify these elements in your clients, their bodies, their voices and their complaints helps identify opportunities for incorporating the 5 elements seamlessly into your sessions. Instructor, Lisa Chan, LAc, PhD, and RPP (Registered Polarity Practitioner) considers the principles of Polarity Reflexology a core part of all of her sessions as well as the larger world around her, outside of sessions. Come join the exploration of the 5 Elements, their corresponding sounds, music, voice, touch, movement, body mapping and Foot & Hand Reflexology in a new way of seeing your world and making a deeper, more connected impact on your work and life.
CE Hours for ARCB, NCBTMB, ABMP, and many States Contrary to popular belief, Reflexology was introduced to China only during the past 40 years. It has spread like wild fire and is now used extensively throughout Asia. During this Seminar, students will learn a complete hands-on foot and lower leg routine as practiced in Thailand as well as many of the latest approaches to Foot Reflexology to come out of China. Hundreds of Reflexology Research studies have been conducted in clinics, hospitals, and medical teaching centers throughout Asia, using many of the techniques the student will learn during this Seminar. This work is fun, deeply relaxing, and has a dramatic ability to increase circulation not only in the feet, but also throughout the rest of the body.
CE Hours for ARCB, NCBTMB, ABMP, and many States There are two primary reflex therapies: Reflexology, which deals with pressure maps that look like a shape of the human body, found primarily on the feet, hands, and outer ears, and, Acupressure, which deals with long thin energy lines called Meridians. Students will learn the 12 main meridians, the functions and uses of many of the points, how to actually locate them, and different ways of holding and working with these acupressure reflex points. This work can be used alone or combined with Massage, Bodywork, Reflexology, and other touch therapies. Practitioners who combine acupressure and Reflexology often get better results.

CE Hours for ARCB, NCBTMB, ABMP, and many States Many practitioners of Reflexology find that an occasional review of the many touch techniques unique to the field of Reflexology to be very helpful. Review of techniques on Feet, Hands, and Ears can bring optimum effectiveness while helping to eliminate the discomforts from thumbs, hands, wrists, arms, shoulders, and back that can result from less than proper body leverage and technique. During this hands-on seminar, students will review the use of gentle, medium, and firm pressure on Feet, Hands, and Ears using proper body leverage rather than brute strength, to attentively and gradually go deeper, over time, rather than intruding into the tissue. Flat, medium, and high thumb and finger techniques; small, medium, and large movements; practitioner positioning on the chair are just some of the other aspects of technique that will be explored in class. Eight touch techniques unique to the ears will be practiced. A variety of new techniques for the Feet and Hands will also be learned.
