| Micro Systems - Working with Lesser Known Reflexology Maps |
Feb 4 |
6 Hours |
The most popular forms of Reflexology around the world are Foot Hand and Ear Reflexology. But, did you know there are other Reflexology maps that are being effectively taught and used by practitioners in specific places around the world? During this hands-on Seminar, students will learn about little known Reflexology Maps, such as: the Korean Map (reflexes for the entire body located in each hand and each foot) not both feet and hands as in the common Western Reflexology maps. The Taiwanese 2nd Metacarpal Reflexology Map, Phases 3 and 4 on the outer ear, and others. Practitioners will be able to work with these lesser Reflexology Maps separately, or incorporate them into their current touch therapy practices.

| Acupressure - Forearms & Hands, Lower Legs & Feet |
Mar 10-11 |
12 Hours |
There are two primary reflex therapies: Reflexology, which deals with pressure maps that look like a shape of the human body, found primarily on the feet, hands, and outer ears, and, Acupressure, which deals with long thin energy lines called Meridians. Students will learn the 12 main meridians, the functions and uses of many of the points, how to actually locate them, and different ways of holding and working with these acupressure reflex points. This work can be used by itself or combined with Massage, Bodywork, Reflexology, and other touch therapies. Practitioners who combine acupressure and Reflexology often get better results.

| Metamorphosis |
Apr 28-29 |
12 Hours |
Many of us have heard that chemical, emotions, and physical stresses on the baby before birth, can show up as emotional and physical challenges later in life. Where the theory of Reflexology is that it reduces stress from the time of birth to present time, part of the theory of Metamorphosis is that it reduces stress from the point of conception to the point of birth. During this fascinating Seminar, students will learn the principles behind Metamorphosis, remarkably gentle techniques applied to the specific parts of the feet, hands, and head, and how Metamorphosis can be used by itself, or incorporated in many of the touch therapies. As the name suggests, some people experience moderate to substantial life changes that they attribute to a series of Metamorphic sessions.

| Pain Control & Stress Reduction with Foot Hand Ear Reflexology |
Aug 11 |
6 Hours |
Stress is a killer. Experts agree that stress is the cause of 70% - 90% of all office visits to doctors. Stress reduction is profoundly important in our modern world. Most people think of stress as affecting muscles. However, stress also has damaging effects on all of the internal organs, glands, and cells of the body. It is the cells that produce the body’s natural chemicals. And it is the body’s chemicals that are the true healers of most health challenges. Students will learn to identify numerous "everyday life" causes of stress with a brief discussion of prevention, learning hands-on ways of reducing pain and stress for 14 of the most commonly affected places in the body. These include brain (headaches), sinuses, neck, shoulders, lower back, lungs, stomach, uterus (PMS, cramps), urinary bladder, colon, and more. The stress/nutritional basis for most illnesses will also be explored, with highly effective approaches to successfully dealing with these issues. This seminar is ideal for the total beginner, as well as the Massage Therapist, Bodyworker, and Reflexologist.

| Technique Review - Foot Hand Ear Reflexology * |
Aug 12 |
6 Hours |
Many practitioners of Reflexology find that an occasional review of the many touch techniques unique to the field of Reflexology to be very helpful. Review of techniques on Feet, Hands, and Ears can bring optimum effectiveness while helping to eliminate the discomforts from thumbs, hands, wrists, arms, shoulders, and back that can result from less than proper body leverage and technique. During this hands-on seminar, students will review the use of gentle, medium, and firm pressure on Feet, Hands, and Ears using proper body leverage rather than brute strength, to attentively and gradually go deeper, over time, rather than intruding into the tissue. Flat, medium, and high thumb and finger techniques; small, medium, and large movements; practitioner positioning on the chair are just some of the other aspects of technique that will be explored in class. Eight touch techniques unique to the ears will be practiced. A variety of new techniques for the Feet and Hands will also be learned.
** Prerequisite - 2 days Foot Reflexology, 1 day Hand Reflexology, 1 day Ear Reflexology from any touch therapy school.

| Cancer & Coronal Foot Reflexology** |
Sep 8-9 |
12 Hours |
More and more people will be looking for your help as cancer remains the key health issue for people in the 21st Century. If we do not experience it directly we will know someone who does. Those affected by this challenge are turning increasingly to complementary approaches to conventional chemotherapy and radiation treatment and all the unpleasant side effects. Reflexology can be a very powerful aid for cancer patients at whatever stage of treatment. By using the powerful and relaxing techniques you will learn during this hands-on workshop, you can make a significant difference to the well-being of your clients. During this class you will learn new, powerful and immediately useful techniques to assist in the body’s self healing process, and you will abandon any lingering fear of applying Reflexology while developing a better understanding of what cancer is actually all about. Students will also learn Coronal Zone Reflex Therapy™ a British approach which deals with a
different zone concept. There are 40 points which can be located through the medial (inner) aspects of each foot and 32 points on the lateral (outer) edge of both feet. These can be worked by projecting the energy through the body from the outer margins into the core, or from the centre of the body radiating outwards to the surface. This method and the techniques easily integrate into your Reflexology, Massage, or Bodywork Routines. It is important to stress that these are additional access points for the powerful delivery of Reflexology. This useful tool in your practice does not seek to replace conventional reflexology but rather allows for an additional perspective when working with the wide range of health challenges presented by your clients.
